The question I get asked most about my job is " Do you get to go to fashion shows?" and always the same answer: Well, no, I'm a number cruncher, any fashion shows I've been to have been for fun, not work.
(At a previous company we were graciously allowed to watch the live stream of our fashion show at London Fashion Week, from our desks back in the office.) The company I work for now has just launched their first campaign as a group - the Mum & Me Coatwalk, and last night I went along to the glamorous show on the South Bank to see the result of all the hard work and take some snaps of course:
The campaign brings together coats from across Jacques Vert Group's 8 brands,
and launched with 3 shows yesterday along London's South Bank:
The models were a mix of polished professionals, supporting celebrities (including Emilia Fox,
Joanna David and even TOWIE Nanny Pat!) and You magazine readers,
all wearing the coats in their own way:
Coatwalk is also supporting the "Think Pink" charity campaign, which made an uplifting
appearance in the form of energetic dancers with pink ribbons and girls with pink balloons:
So excited to see the result of all the hard work from design, buying and marketing,
but the winter's not done yet. Roll on Monday morning...!
